In the context of a new developemrnt program, The Department of Clinical Neuroscience is seeking for 3 Psychaitrists and 1 Senior Researcher.

The Department of Clinical Neuroscience of Villa San Benedetto Menni – Hermanas Hospitalarias (www.dncospdaliere.it) directed by prof. Giampaolo Perna (www.giampaoloperna.com) is seeking 3 psychiatrists who are strongly motivated to research oriented psychiatry and a senior researcher expert in clinical research and motivated to educate junior researchers.

The Department is part of an international network of 200 centers around the world mainly devoted to mental health care. The department was build 5 years ago with a strong commitment to evidence based psychiatry and research obtaining excellent results even if not being an official academic or research institute. In the next 5 years there is a strong commitment to build an international scientific institute of excellence in mental health. The main areas of development will be anxiety, stress related and obsessive compulsive disorders focusing on psychophysiological, neuropsychological, genetic aspects in the frame of the concept of personalized psychiatry. We offer an environment very cooperative, goal oriented that puts scientific thinking and methodology as the key aspect of its activity. 

The 3 psychiatrist will refer directly to the chairman of the Department anche their activity will be divided in clinical and research activities. We are looking for highly motivated psychiatrists research-oriented with a strong propensity to collaborated with collegues, with a high flexibility and curiosity, hard workers and determinated to gain excellent scientific quality. The selected candidates will begin their as soon as possible.

- Specialization in Psychiatry.

- Fluent Italian speaking and writing abilities.

- Good english speaking and writing abilities.

- Some experience in research activity.

- Clinical Experience in the field of anxiety, stress related and obessive compulsive disorders.

- Authorship in peer reviewed scientific journals

- Ph.D or doctorate or equivalent

Salary: Commensurate with experience (around 40'000 Euros/year) with the possibility of private practice with extra salary.

Minimal time of work required: 40 hours weekly

The researcher will refer to the chief of the research unit and should be able to complete a scientific study and to prepare high quality scientific papers.

- Fluent english speaking and writing abilities.

- Being co-author in at least 15 papers indexed in Journal Citation Report, 5 of them as first author

- Specialization in Psychiatry.

- Experience in the field of anxiety, stress related and obessive compulsive disorders.

- Experience in psychophysiological and genetic studies

- Ph.D or doctorate or equivalent

Minimal time of work required: 40 hours weekly
