The course "Management of treatment- resistant Psychiatric Disorders" to be held in Cortona 4 to 11 October 2014 organized by the Neuroscience School of Advanced Studies will have among its faculty Giampaolo Perna along with a team of high-level professionals coordinated by Charles Nemeroff , University of Miami (USA). The teaching staff includes: Alan Schatzberg , University of Stanford (USA ), W. Edward Craighead, Emory University , Atlanta ( USA) , Glen Gabbard , Baylor College of Medicine , Houston (USA ), Thomas E. Schlaepfer , University of Bonn (Germany) , Kathleen Brady, Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston (USA) and Philip Harvey, University of Miami (USA).

The course , in English , is aimed at psychiatrists , psychologists and psychotherapists and will allow students to interact with each member of the faculty for a whole day. The environment fosters informal interaction between staff and students are expected to come from very different international environment .
